The governing criteria of the site is to make widely available low impact household and construction products that help to reduce the emissions of Global Warming Gasses and reduce consumption of finite resources.
Eco Warehouse expect all products for sale on their site to be non toxic and as safe as reasonably possible within the bounds of current knowledge.
To this end suppliers should provide sustainability statements to accompany their products. Eco Warehouse will endeavour to scrutinise these statements but can offer no guarantee as to their authenticity. However if it is found that sellers have misrepresented their products, they will be immediately removed from the site. Products should be recognisably sustainable options to commonly available alternatives. Generally products will be ecological alternatives from renewable, recycled or reusable sources. Where finite resources are used, they will be chosen for their specific properties which offer considerable environmental payback over their lifetime and have qualities economically unavailable in renewable formation.
